What this tool measures

SEO: Search Engine Optimization

The foundations everything else depends on: a sitemap so crawlers find every page, no noindex directives shutting the door, and a title and description that say who you are. ChatGPT's answers are sourced from the Bing index, so classic SEO is now AI visibility too.

AEO: Answer Engine Optimization

When a buyer asks "how much does it cost to sell a house in Richmond," AI engines look for content that asks and answers that exact question: question-form headings, direct answers in the first sentence, and FAQPage schema they can lift word for word. That structure is what gets you quoted instead of your competitor.

GEO: Generative Engine Optimization

Can ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI actually reach your site and learn who you are? If your robots.txt or firewall blocks their crawlers, or no structured data says "this is a real estate agent serving this market," or your content only exists after JavaScript runs, AI engines cannot recommend you. Not because you are bad at your job, but because to them you do not exist.

Content Strategy

Technical checks only matter if the content itself answers what customers actually ask. This pillar looks for the four question categories buyers and sellers research before they ever call an agent (costs, comparisons, problems, and best-of evaluations), for hyperlocal pages about the specific places you serve, for long-tail pages that each own one specific question, and for whether you are still publishing. Almost nobody writes the local, long-tail answers, which is exactly why they win.

This grader runs deterministic technical checks against your live site. It does not store your URL or your results, and it never asks for your email. It was built by Clayton Gits, who used the same playbook to make his own sites visible to AI engines.
